Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. seeks an experienced physician for a part-time role in skilled nursing facilities. You will manage your own patient panel with autonomy, building long-term relationships with residents and families.

You’ll see 16–25 patients daily, perform wellness visits, coordinate care, and chart from home. The position offers flexible scheduling, no on-call requirements, and a strong earning potential with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16-25 patients per day across long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Perform annual wellness visits and H&Ps and manage chronic conditions.
• Review medications and orders and coordinate with specialists and facility staff.
• Respond to acute changes and participate in care conferences with families when appropriate.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, autonomous Physicianto join our clinical team Part Time at least 3 days per week, providing primary and episodic care toresidents in skilled nursing facilities. This is an independent role builtaround continuity you'll manage your own panel and build long-termrelationships with patients and their families.

Your Day-to-Day

You'll see roughly 16-25 patients a day a mix of long-termchronic care and acute issues. That means annual wellness visits and H&Ps,managing chronic and co-morbid conditions, responding to acute changes,reviewing meds and orders, and coordinating with collaborating specialists andfacility staff to keep care seamless. You'll also stay in touch with familiesand join care conferences where it makes sense.
