Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks an experienced Physician to join our clinical team in a full-time role, delivering primary and episodic care to skilled nursing facility residents. Manage your own panel and build lasting relationships with patients and families.

The position offers 6-hour shifts, charting from home, no on-call requirements, and a productivity-based pay model with a retention incentive up to $50,000. Comprehensive benefits and modern tech support are provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified (BC) Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients daily with a mix of long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Conduct annual wellness visits and H&Ps, manage chronic and co-morbid conditions.
• Respond to acute changes, review meds and orders, and coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff.
• Stay in touch with families and join care conferences where appropriate.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, autonomous Physician to join our clinical team full time, providing primary and episodic care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. This is an independent role built around continuity you'll manage your own panel and build long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Your Day-to-Day
