Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks an experienced, autonomous Physician to join our clinical team full time in skilled nursing facilities.

You’ll manage your own patient panel, provide primary and episodic care, and build long-term relationships with residents and their families. The day-to-day features six-hour shifts, morning rounds, charting from home, no on-call, and a productivity-based compensation model with earnings potentially exceeding $300,000.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified (BC) Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients per day with a mix of long-term care and acute issues.
• Perform annual wellness visits and H&Ps; manage chronic and co-morbid conditions.
• Review meds and orders; coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff.
• Participate in care conferences with families when appropriate.

About the Role

Your Day-to-Day
