A sign-on bonus is offered with relocation assistance available for moves over 50 miles. The job requires an Associate's Degree as PTA, Illinois licensure, BLS within 30 days, and board exam eligibility.

Qualifications

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - IL IDFPR required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA required.
• Board Eligible/Required to complete board exam on next available date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using teaching methods.
• Follows therapist's plan of care; adjust treatment based on patient response andCommunication with evaluating therapist.
• Produces documentation in accordance with Clinical Documentation Policy.
• Complete annual education for DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program if applicable.
• Follows treatment plan of care established by PT; provides treatment interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, ultrasound.
• Administers electrical stimulation; aquatic therapy; completes daily documentation and charging in EMR.
• Coordinates with PT on patient treatment interventions; communicates progress to referring provider.
