Carle Health in Illinois is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to evaluate and treat patients, adjust plans of care, and serve as a clinical resource for staff. This role offers a sign-on bonus for new grads and experienced candidates, relocation assistance, and opportunities to contribute to patient-centered care across diverse age groups.

The PTA will collaborate with therapists, document progress, and participate in ongoing education to ensure high-quality outcomes for patients

Qualifications

• Educates patients, family, and other care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Follows and documents communication with evaluating therapist regarding plan of care.
• Completes required annual education for program compliance when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care. Adjusts the treatment based on patient response and available evidence after communicating with the evaluating therapist and documenting that communication in the daily note.
• Produces documentation in accordance with the Clinical Documentation Policy (CTSCP67).
• If applicable, completes annual education to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.
