Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for skilled nursing facilities in NYC and surrounding areas. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver therapy, educate patients and families, and help improve function and cognition.

We offer direct employment or to be your own boss as an independent contractor with corporation setup assistance. Weekly pay and flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Current NYS PTA license and registration.
• EMR competence.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting with conditions such as TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, Cancer, orthopedic surgery and related disabilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
