Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for Skilled Nursing Facilities in NYC and surrounding areas. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver treatments and educate patients and families to improve function and cognition.

We offer both Direct Employment and Independent Contractor options, plus assistance with setup of a corporation. Hourly pay ranges from $34–$40 depending on role and contract type, with weekly pay via direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Current NYS PTA License and Registration.
• EMR competence or experience.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice/Liability insurance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with the PT Supervisor and follow the Plan of Care for patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to SNF patients with diverse diagnoses.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Physical Therapist Assistants for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

PTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

We offer the opportunity for Direct Employment with our agency OR to Be Your Own Boss as an Independent Contractor.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
