Job summary

Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Tennessee and capable of evaluating and treating residents independently to improve mobility and comfort.

You will assist the PT with therapy plans designed to prevent disability, promote functional independence, and enhance overall well-being for geriatric residents in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PTA license in Tennessee.
• Experience in geriatric or SNF setting preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physical therapist with therapies designed to improve mobility.
• Deliver treatment plans to promote wellness in residents.
• Support residents’ functional activities to enhance daily living.

Physical Therapy Assistant

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• SNF experience preferred but not required
