Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring Physical Therapist Aides to join a collaborative team delivering high-quality care in a state-of-the-art facility. The role includes assisting therapists, preparing treatment rooms, and supporting front desk operations.

The position requires knowledge of anatomy, therapy equipment, and strong patient communication. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–3pm, with a focus on safety and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Anatomy & Kinesiology.
• Knowledge of the equipment used in therapy work.
• Ability to observe, evaluate, and record patient conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Prepare heat and ice packs, assist patients to the pool, guide exercises and strengthening techniques.
• Ensure operation of treatment equipment and perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Educate patients by demonstrating proper equipment use and exercises.
• Prepare the treatment room and assist with patient comfort and safety.
• Provide front desk coverage and assist with scheduling as needed.
• Respond to calls from physician offices, hospitals, and patients with excellent service.
