Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Aide to support clinicians in a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary setting. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and efficient clinic operations.

Shift hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm to 6pm, with an anticipated hourly pay range of $17 to $18.50. Responsibilities include assisting with exercises, preparing supplies, and maintaining a clean, confidential environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Anatomy & Kinesiology.
• Knowledge of the equipment used in therapy work.
• Ability to observe, evaluate, and record conditions, reactions, and changes in patients’ physical condition.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Assist with preparing heat and ice packs, pool activities, and patient positioning.
• Ensure operation of treatment equipment by basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercises.
• Prepare the treatment room and supplies for sessions.
• Provide front desk coverage and scheduling assistance as needed.
