Qualifications

• Knowledge of Anatomy & Kinesiology.
• Knowledge of the equipment used in therapy work.
• Knowledge of patient behaviors and needs.
• Knowledge of strengthening techniques.
• Ability to complete in-service training.
• Ability to observe, evaluate and record patient conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Prepare heat/cold therapy, assist with pool activities, and guide exercises.
• Maintain and troubleshoot treatment equipment as needed.
• Educate patients on equipment use and exercise routines.
• Welcome and assist patients into therapy sessions.
• Provide information to patients and address requests or fears.
• Keep patient information confidential and maintain a clean work area.
• Supply and sterilize equipment and assist therapists with access.
• Prepare treatment rooms following procedures and protocols.
• Answer calls from physicians, hospitals, and patients with good service.
• Manage supplies inventory and ordering; assist with scheduling as needed.
• Perform front desk duties as required.
