Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess and design individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients under the supervision of Therapy Leadership. The role includes supervising patients and rehab staff, while adhering to Mercy service standards.

Candidates should hold a current PT license in the state of practice and BLS certification, with 6–12 months of preferred experience in rehabilitation settings. A strong commitment to Mercy values is essential.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of practice.
• BLS certification current before caring for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; general supervision of PT assistants as per State Practice Acts.
• Act in alignment with Mercy mission, values and service standards.
