Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess adults and geriatric patients, develop individualized treatment programs, and supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants under Therapy Leadership. Requires a PT degree and current license, BLS, and up to one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current/temporary PT license in state of practice.
• BLS certification current.
• Six months to one year rehab PT experience preferred, especially for adult/geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts and Mercy policies.
