Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and create comprehensive treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients under the supervision of Therapy Leadership. The role includes supervising patients, rehab technicians, and PT assistants, in accordance with Mercy Service Standards and State Practice Acts.

Education must include a PT degree (DPT/MS/BS-PT). BLS certification is required; six months to one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification is required and must be current before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in line with State Practice Acts.
