Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, developing and adjusting treatment plans as needed. You will serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students while delivering high-quality care.

The role includes a sign-on bonus, with $5,000 for new grads and $7,500 for those with more than a year of experience post-graduation. Relocation assistance is available for moves over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) required.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Experience with orthopedic and neurologic conditions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages with plan of care adjustments based on response.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Performs patient transfers with safe body mechanics and uses appropriate modalities.
• Completes documentation in the EMR and maintains daily therapy records.
• Communicates progress and treatment recommendations to referring providers.
• Adheres to policy requirements and quality standards (DNV Hip/Knee program as applicable).
• Uses support personnel appropriately and provides feedback to ensure safe care.
