Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) - IDFPR
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA
• Continue education for acute stroke care

Responsibilities

• Performs patient transfers with safe body mechanics
• Develops and adjusts plan of care to meet goals and discharge plan
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine diagnoses and outcomes
• Documents in therapy EMR daily
