Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, creating and adjusting plans of care. The role serves as a clinical resource for staff and students, while maintaining patient-centered care with a focus on safety and outcomes.

New grads may qualify for a sign-on bonus with amounts up to $5,000 and candidates with 1+ year post-graduation may receive up to $7,500. Relocation assistance is available for moves over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days – American Heart Association (AHA)
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all required continuing education regarding the care of acute stroke patients

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with assistance as needed from bed, chair and floor, using safe body mechanics.
• Treats patients with dignity and respect, remaining empathetic and engaged with those who need services.
• Designs and adjusts a plan of care that integrates goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plans based on patient response and evidence.
