Qualifications

In this role you will examine, evaluate, test and work to alleviate mechanical, physiological or developmental impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or other health and movement related conditions. You will classify these disorders, determine a rehabilitation prognosis and plan of therapeutic intervention, and assess the ongoing effects of the interventions.

Essential Job Functions

• Evaluate patients utilizing advanced/specialized tests and measurements to determine the physical therapy problem, level of function, and expected discharge environment.
• Promote and demonstrate knowledge of appropriate patient care protocols relating to physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Establish a treatment plan based upon evaluation findings, patient/family goals, the referring practitioner, and therapist’s objectives.
• Perform advanced/specialized physical therapy techniques and procedures.
• Treat patients with complex problems, including comorbidities and/or poor previous outcomes; consult on difficult cases for staff and referring practitioners.
• Document findings, patient progress, procedures performed, and time required.
• Instruct patient/families in home programs.
• Demonstrate effective time management and achieve designated productivity standards.

Required Qualifications
