Job summary

Pine Ridge Care Center in California is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents within neuromuscular and musculoskeletal domains, delivering care in accordance with approved plans of care.

This full/part-time position offers a salary range of $99,840 to $124,800 annually, a sign-on bonus, and benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K, PTO, referral bonuses, and relocation reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current California Physical Therapy license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan and administer treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Administer and interpret tests for strength, ROM, coordination and respiratory/circulatory function.
• Provide direct resident treatment per approved plan of care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality of records.
• Perform home assessments to support safe discharge planning.
• Complete required forms and documentation per policy and regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care..
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
