Job summary

Pine Ridge Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) in California. The position offers a salary range of $104,000 - $124,000 with per diem/on-call duties and a sign-on bonus.

Benefits include PTO and referral bonuses. New graduates are welcomed and a California license is required to practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current California Physical Therapy license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, range of motion, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment per an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge.
• Completes required forms and documents per policy and state/federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
