Job summary

Autumn Hills Healthcare Center in Glendale, CA is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues, following an established plan of care.

Salary ranges from $104,000 to $124,000 per year with per diem/on-call adjustments; a sign-on bonus is available. Benefits include PTO and referral bonuses.

New graduates welcome; CA license required; 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/masters/doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Current California Physical Therapy license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment per established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge environments.
• Completes required forms and documents per policy and regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
