Job summary

Vale Healthcare Center in California is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents within the scope of practice. This role supports neuromuscular and musculoskeletal care and contributes to a supportive team environment.

The position offers a salary range of $99,840 to $124,800 depending on full- or part-time status, plus a sign-on bonus. Applicants should hold a California PT license and have clinical experience; new graduates are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Evaluates and treats patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Tests and measures muscle strength, range of motion, coordination.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge.
• Completes required forms and documents per policy and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers tests for strength, ROM, respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment per established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records and ensures proper documentation.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care..
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
