Job summary

Fruitvale Healthcare Center in Oakland, CA is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT). The role provides a salary range of $99,840 to $124,800 with full- or part-time options and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include evaluating, planning and administering PT treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems, performing tests, and maintaining patient records in accordance with policy and regulations. Licensure in California is required.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy degree (BSc, MSc, or DPT) required.
• California license to practice Physical Therapy required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Perform tests of muscle strength, range of motion, and functional assessments.
• Document care plans and maintain confidentiality per policy.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care..
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
