Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapist for Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX. This role focuses on acute care rehabilitation, designing movement-promoting plans and guiding patients toward safe discharge.

You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, supervise therapy assistants, and uphold safety standards. A Bachelor's in PT is required; BLS and PT licensure are mandatory.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date
• Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) before hire date
• Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's/Doctorate preferred

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s)

• Drivers License.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree OR Doctorate preferred.
