Job summary

Ascension Seton Bastrop is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for the Rehab Services department. Located in Bastrop, Texas, you will perform initial and ongoing assessments, develop and adjust patient care plans, and deliver therapy interventions using standard PT techniques.

You will also oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel, ensuring quality care and patient progress in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active licensure/certification required; BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care with patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and staff.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
