Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Physical Therapist at Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. The role involves part-time daytime hours in Physical Therapy, with responsibilities for initial assessments and ongoing care planning.

You will implement standard PT techniques, oversee PT aides and students, and collaborate with the care team to support patient recovery and mobility. Bachelor’s degree is required, with advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (as stated).
• Master's or Doctorate degree preferred for advancement or specialty areas.
• BLS Provider certification (within 30 days) required or similar credential.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Physical Therapist temporary letter will be accepted until license is issued.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
