Job summary

Ascension Providence Outpatient PT in Waco, Texas is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient team. You will provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a licensed physical therapist and document all treatment interventions accordingly.

The role requires PTA licensure in Texas within 6 months of hire and a High School Diploma or GED. BLS certification is needed within 1 month of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted).
• PTA credentialed from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners within 6 months of hire date.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) credentialed from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.
