Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, design and deliver skilled therapeutic interventions across inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and other locations. You’ll work under evidence-based practices to improve function and quality of life.

You will document patient progress in the EMR, collaborate with physicians and care teams, maintain productivity without compromising care, and participate in ongoing education and compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred; required within a set timeframe for some facilities.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops an individualized treatment plan with goals.
• Delivers direct therapy daily and instructs patient and family on procedures.
• Maintains accurate records and documents progress in EMR timely.
• Maintains productivity while delivering high-quality care.
• Follows safety and infection-control policies and participates in compliance.
• Supervises PT assistants and supports professional growth.
