Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join the Physical Therapy Unit at St. Charles Hospital.

You will perform initial and ongoing assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide patient-centered care across inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, and off-site locations. You will document progress in the electronic medical record, coordinate care with the team, and maintain productivity while upholding Mercy Health's standards and patient-first values.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates age-specific standards and protocols for patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
• Proficient in general computer/data entry for medical records.
• Ability to analyze patient condition and progress to adjust plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops a treatment plan with goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily according to plan of care and standards.
• Maintains accurate medical records and documents progress in EMR.
• Keeps productivity within department standards without sacrificing quality.
• Supervises and coordinates with physical therapist assistants as needed.
