Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for the Marcum & Wallace Hospital to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across settings. You will develop and implement individualized plans, document progress, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include direct patient therapy, maintaining records, supervising assistants, and ensuring compliance with safety and standards. Experience in mobility, pediatrics, or acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or meet all qualifications for traineeship or temporary license in the state of current practice (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days for some facilities)
• 2 years of experience in equivalent setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans with goals
• Provide direct therapy following plan of care and standards
• Maintain accurate records in EMR and coordinate services
• Supervise assistants and ensure productivity
• Adhere to safety, infection control and policy requirements
• Assist in ongoing education and professional development
