Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide skilled therapeutic interventions under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. You will document patient progress in the electronic health record and implement treatment programs across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety and policy standards while maintaining productivity and contributing to a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• Provides age-specific therapeutic interventions as directed by PT
• Maintains accurate records of treatment and progress
• Maintains productivity without compromising quality
• Precepts students during internships from partner colleges/universities
• Adheres to safety, infection control, time-off requests and timecard policies
• Observes and reports patient responses to PT guidance

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions under supervision.
• Document patient treatment and progress in EHR.
• Follow established treatment programs and educate patients/families.
