Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Inpatient Rehab in Pensacola, FL seeks a Physical Therapist for the day shift with rotating weekends. You will assess patients, plan and adjust treatments, and lead PT assistants and learners to deliver high‑quality care.

Candidates must hold Florida PT licensure and BLS certification, with a bachelor's degree required and a master's/doctorate preferred. This full‑time role includes a $5,000 sign‑on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date; American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice prior to hire date.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establish, revise, and evaluate a care plan involving patient/family.
• Perform therapy interventions using standard PT techniques for patient condition.
• Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and support personnel.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
