Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Outpatient department in Waco, Texas. This full-time position focuses on evaluating patients, delivering PT interventions, and adjusting plans to promote safe, measurable recovery.

You will guide therapy staff and students, ensuring high standards of care and collaboration within the team in an outpatient setting. A Bachelor's degree is required, with higher degrees preferred, and licensure in Texas within the stated timelines.

Licenses/Certifications/Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
