Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) is hiring Physical Therapists to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Chicagoland. We emphasize exceptional patient care, clinical growth, and collaboration with orthopedic physicians to optimize function and outcomes.

New grads welcome with a mentorship period and pathways to advanced programs such as an orthopedic residency; generous benefits and annual CEU support are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for direct patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders and perform comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide evidence-based patient care and monitor progress.
• Establish discharge plans and follow-up recommendations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation (evaluations, progress notes, home programs).
• Ensure billing compliance and ethical practices.
• Collaborate with IBJI physicians and clinical team.
• Supervise Rehabilitation Technicians and support staff as needed.
• Maintain Illinois PT license and complete required CEUs.
• Engage in mentoring, professional development, and community outreach.
• Other duties as assigned.
