Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree required; Doctorate degree preferred
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
• Completed state regulated CEU requirement in NY/NJ
• Experience with EMR software preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• Team player with minimal supervision
• Maintains a positive, professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Collects and records patient care data per guidelines reflecting reimbursement considerations
• Records daily billing and maintains productivity
• Prepares for evaluations per department policies and patient history
• Selects and administers tests and measures
• Synthesizes evaluation results to diagnose, set goals, prognosis and plan of care
• Establishes treatment plan and collaborates with interdisciplinary team
• Identifies need for consultations or referrals and initiates discharge plan
• Provides education to patient and support system
• Oversees PTA/ATC/PT aides and attends billing seminars
• Promotes JAG in the community through lectures/presentations
