Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, and to serve as a clinical resource for staff and students. This on-site role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

The PTA will educate patients and families, follow the plan of care, document thoroughly, and participate in annual required training related to hip and knee replacement programs as applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with IDFPR.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Board eligibility/required to complete board exam when available.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Follows and communicates adjustments to the plan of care based on patient response.
• Documents in the EMR and adheres to the Clinical Documentation Policy.
• Completes annual education for DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program, if applicable.
• Coordinates with PT and referring providers on patient progress.
