Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. The role focuses on geriatric mobility, pain relief, and functional activities to enhance residents’ daily living and independence.

As a PTA, you will assist the PT with evaluations, design and implement therapy plans, and monitor progress. NJ license is required; SNF experience is preferred but not required. Per diem schedule offers flexibility and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Looking for a per diem talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
