Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in New Jersey is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. The successful candidate will assist the physical therapist, help residents improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote wellness in a geriatric setting.

Applicants must hold an active license in the state, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and have an interest in geriatric care.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Looking for a per diem talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• SNF experience preferred but not required
