Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapeutic services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.

You will implement treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, educate patients, and maintain accurate documentation while collaborating with the healthcare team to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license or certification in the applicable state.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and mobility training.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients on prescribed exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and healthcare team to support patient care.
