Job summary

MedCadre in Albuquerque is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist and help patients improve mobility, strength, and independence. You will implement plans, guide exercises, monitor progress, educate patients and caregivers, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating with the healthcare team to promote safe recovery.

This onsite role requires compassion, clear communication, and a commitment to high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license valid in the state.
• BLS certification current.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Support a safe and supportive treatment environment.
