Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Permanent Physical Therapist Assistant to provide quality rehabilitation under the direction of a Physical Therapist and help patients improve mobility, strength, function, and independence. You will implement treatment plans, lead therapeutic exercises and mobility training, assist with transfers, monitor progress, and educate patients and caregivers on safe movement.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program, an active PTA license, and current BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license as required by the state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous clinical, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and safe movement.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation.
