Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and work within a multidisciplinary team in a clinical setting.

The role emphasizes hands-on therapy, documentation in EMR, patient education, and adherence to HIPAA and facility policies.

Qualifications

• PTA license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and functional restoration.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait, balance, and mobility training.
• Assist patients to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and independence.
• Document progress and update EMR with accuracy.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists; participate in discharge planning.
• Ensure infection control, HIPAA compliance, and safety standards.
