TransPerfect Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient-centered care in a Senior Living and Skilled Nursing setting. New graduates are welcome and will receive onsite mentorship and support from experienced clinicians.

The PTA will treat residents under physician orders, document in Net Health, and collaborate with supervising PT to tailor programs. Competitive benefits and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Onsite positions in Senior Living/Skilled Nursing settings.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope upon physician order and evaluation.
• Optimize residents' functionality and skills.
• Complete documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop programs for residents.
• Attend care planning and staff meetings.
• Assist in meeting state/federal certification standards (OBRA).
• Follow infection control policies and complete tasks assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications
