TransPerfect Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver patient-centered care in a senior living/skilled nursing setting at Sugar Hill, GA. You will partner with a supervising PT, document thoroughly, and contribute to care planning and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice as ordered by physician and initial evaluation
• Optimize patient functionality and skills
• Complete all necessary documentation
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop programs and ensure co-signature
• Attend care planning, staff and family meetings as required
• Assist facility to meet state and federal certification while following OBRA guidelines
• Follow infection control policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

We’re seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and making a meaningful difference every day.

Location: Holbrook Sugar Hill - 5135 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, GA 30518

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation
• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
