Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Marietta, GA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support our aging population in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will deliver patient-centered care under supervision, document in Net Health, and contribute to care planning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope with physician order and evaluation.
• Optimize residents' functionality and skills.
• Complete documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop programs meeting resident needs and supervision requirements.
• Attend required meetings (care planning, staff, family).
• Help the facility meet state and federal certification standards following OBRA Resident Rights.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation

• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients

• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health

• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements

• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.

• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines

• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures

• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications
