TransPerfect Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant for our Town Square Sandy Springs location, part of a community-focused adult day center. The PTA will implement resident care under the supervision of a PT, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered services in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• PTA license in state of practice (GA).
• Full-time availability, Monday–Friday.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents per physician order and PT plan of care.
• Improve residents' functional abilities and skills.
• Complete documentation in Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT on programs.
• Attend care planning and staff meetings.
• Support OBRA compliance and infection control.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This is a fun environment and not your typical work setting. Ideal working hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30/9:00a - 4:00p.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
