TransPerfect Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, NC, delivering compassionate patient-centered care to residents in senior living and skilled nursing settings. You will work under physician orders, support evaluation processes, and collaborate with supervising PT to create appropriate care programs.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice (North Carolina).
• Experience in senior living or skilled nursing settings is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within the PT scope after physician order and evaluation.
• Optimize residents' functionality and skills.
• Complete all documentation via Net Health or equivalent system.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop programs tailored to residents' needs and ensure co-signature and supervision requirements are met.
• Attend care planning, staff meetings, and family meetings as required.
• Assist facility in meeting OBRA Resident Rights guidelines and certifications.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation

• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients

• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health

• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements

• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.

• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines

• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures

• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
