Job summary

TransPerfect Health, the well-being of our team is our top priority, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join the King's Daughter facility. You will provide patient-centered therapy to residents in senior living settings under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders within Physical Therapy scope after physician order and evaluation.
• Optimize residents' functional abilities and skills.
• Complete all documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop programs and ensure co-signature.
• Attend care planning, staff meetings, and family meetings.
• Help the facility meet OBRA standards and certification requirements.
• Follow infection control policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications
