Job summary

TransPerfect Health at Bostick Nursing Center in Milledgeville, GA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents under supervision, implementing treatment plans and supporting quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include documenting in Net Health, collaborating with the supervising PT, and attending care planning and staff meetings while helping the facility meet OBRA standards and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current or eligible PTA license in the practicing state.

• Treat residents with disorders or deficits within PTA scope upon physician order and evaluation.
• Optimize residents' functionality and skills.
• Complete documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to develop resident-centered programs.
• Attend care planning and staff meetings; participate in family meetings as required.
• Assist facility in meeting OBRA standards and certification requirements.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures; perform other tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation

• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients

• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health

• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements

• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.

• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines

• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures

• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
