Job summary

TransPerfect Health in Atlanta is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Lenbrook Atlanta. The PTA will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to the aging population in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings.

You will collaborate with a supervising PT to develop programs, document progress, and ensure compliance with OBRA and facility policies while supporting staff and residents. Competitive benefits and mentorship are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Experience in Senior Living or Skilled Nursing settings preferred.
• Ability to perform and document evaluations and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders within Physical Therapy scope upon physician order and evaluation.
• Optimize patient functionality and skills.
• Complete all documentation via Net Health.
• Collaborate with supervising PT on programs tailored to resident needs and comply with supervision requirements.
• Attend care planning, staff, and family meetings as required.
• Assist in meeting OBRA standards and certification requirements.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
• Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
• Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
• Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
• Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
• Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
